Kolber previously worked for CBS Sports, Fox Sports. Kolber is a native of Pennsylvania, received a graduate degree from University of Miami. Kolber started her career as a journalist in New York City as a CBS Sports video coordinator. She received an award for a local Sports Emmy during her tenure with WTVJ-TV which is located in Miami. She worked for WPLG-TV, Miami as well as WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. She was selected to be anchor of ESPN2 in 1993 when it first launched. After three years with the network, she left ESPN2 and joined Fox Sports. In 1999, she was hired by ESPN to present 'Monday Night Countdown.'
